**!Chicas That ROCK!!*~

If my favorite guys get a page, why shouldn't the girls?

Ling Xiaoyu!
Tekken 5 only emphasized my love for this choco-haired school girl. Classy moves, snake-like stealth, and a bubbly fighting style can only make her one of the most annoying characters. However, taking the time to play as her in all different aspects brings out her premium sparkle. Go Xiaoyu!

Anna Williams!
Talk about an Irish powerhouse. Not only has she been a favorite of mine since her appearance in Tekken 2, she's one of my most frequently drawn videogame characters (nothing weird, it's just that she's easy to draw). I'm yet to master her intricate chain-throws (which are VERY useful), but her assassin-style of discipline (sp?) is very useful when it comes to enemies that block too friggin' much. LLAS Anna!

Sango!
I'm not quite clear on her surname, but I do honor Ms. Sango for what she's done to help Inuyasha and Kagome in their search for the Shikon Jewel shards....
And I must honor her for putting up with Miroku's lewdness. Her weapon, Hiraikotsu, seems very difficult to master; therefore, Sango must be totally at peace with mind and body to manage a weapon like that. P.S.: her little friend Kilala (or, Kirara in the manga) is so cute!

Haruhara Haruko!
Ever since the first day I saw her on FLCL in Florida, Haruko has been my favorite pink-haired alien girl. Her very essence is energetic and passionate...and a little annoying in Naota-kun's eyes. Her appearance in FLCL has practically changed my life...go on and say "Oh, what bully poo." I don't care. Her spicy character and firey attacks (and that wicked cool guitar of hers!) have inspired me to do my best in all I do and don't take no poo from nobody. (-_-)
Yaay! I found a really great pic of Haruko!

Hikaru!
I'm kinda short of memory when it comes to last names, aren't I? Anyways...
Though I only own volumes one through four of Magic Knight Rayearth and I haven't even peeked at the second part of the series...and I haven't even finished reading the first part of the series...Hikaru's one of my favorite characters, I'll say. Not only do her parents have a cool job (run a kendo school!), but she's learned the art of kendo through this "advantage" and uses it in battle in Cephiro.
Her heart is the size of the entire planet, I swear! She uses her magic wisely, and it's at its zenith when she wants to protect her friends, Umi and Fuu. She has certainly earned the honor of being on my Chicas That ROCK! page. Congrats, Hikaru!

kaorupersistencehonor.jpg

Kamiya Kaoru!
One of the heroines from Rurouni Kenshin, she manages to show her tough stuff throughout her entire appearance in the series. Though she does get kidnapped once or twice and is a little whiny, her kendo skills (Kamiya-Kashin style) outshine even the swiftest Hiten-Mitsurugi style of attack!
(well, a little...).
I only started wondering about this picture of her recently, and I found that it symbolized persistence and honor in her heart. Kaoru was committed to defeating the Juppongatana (sp?), even though her kendo sword had been broken to pieces. And you know what? She did win, adamantly believing she'd be reunited with Kenshin and they'd all go home to Tokyo together.
Isn't that sweet?

suzuka.jpg

Suzuka!
Though I am not clear on her surname either, I do know that she's one of my favorite, nearly passive female characters from my old favorite anime, Outlaw Star. I remember watching the series sometime in late 2000 or late 2001 (well, I remember being in sixth grade, sooo...). She uses a boken, a type of kendo sword. She's a bounty hunter and eventually meets up with Gene Starwind and his little group during a run-in with a bounty. In one episode, Gene Starwind's group of bounty hunters were out to get some info on a bounty (or, out to get a bounty...); the info resource was located at a store on one of the many planets that made up their star system. Though the store that the bounty was in had a detector for weapons, Suzuka came in with her classy kimono-clad self undetected--her sword was made of wood! And with this sword, she nearly pulverizes the bounty, leaving Gene and his friends shocked at the sight of her. Her theme music is awesome, too (yeah, she has her own theme song). I watch the episodes in which she was introduced just to hear her entrance theme. A beautiful killer like Suzuka totally deserved the "honor"of being in my "Chicas that ROCK" hall of fame.

"Chicas that ROCK!" is part of a complete breakfast.
